Max was born and raised in Portland, OR, and moved back to Portland from San Antonio to work at Buckeye. He spends his free time coaching youth baseball, golf and spending time with his family.
Mike Bailey
Trader
Mike recently joined Buckeye Mat’s bringing 5 years’ experience in the Crane Mat industry. Prior to that he brings over 22 years of experience in the Industrial Lumber Industry.
Mike is very active in his community, and has coached youth sports for over 20 years. He and his wife Julie enjoy spending time and traveling with four children and three grand children. Mike loves the outdoors and when there’s any free time, you can find him on the golf course.
Jordan Herron
Trader
Jordan joined the Buckeye Mats team in early 2019 with 5 years of experience as a sales representative in the building materials industry in the Pacific Northwest.
Jordan was born and raised in Indiana and attended Indiana University. He moved to Portland in 2011 and has loved every minute of it. He enjoys spending his time away from work playing basketball, golfing, and socializing with friends and family.
John Hite
Trader, Grading Specialist
John joined the Buckeye Mat team in 2015 after spending three years in the crane mat industry. Prior to that, he gained over 10 years of experience buying, selling, grading and installing composite and timber mats.
John primarily travels the United States for Buckeye Mats helping customers determine the best options for their matting needs. In addition, John grades mats for Buckeye on buybacks and assists customers with any problems they may have. Feel free to call Buckeye and request John to come out and help you with any future projects you may have.
Jack McNulty
Trader
Jack joined Buckeye Mats early in 2021. He studied Business Marketing at California State Northridge, where he also played D1 volleyball. When he’s not selling mats, he enjoys going to the beach and making music.
Steve McNulty
Vice President
Steve joined the Buckeye Mats team in 2015 with nine years’ experience in the crane mat industry. Prior to that he brings over 20 years of experience trading commodity lumber products. Steve assembled the mat team based on the mission statement, “To provide our customers and suppliers with the very best service, quality and prices available. We believe it all starts with the selection of the team and our core values.”
Steve played basketball at Hawaii Pacific University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. He and his wife Cindy have three daughters and one son. They lead a very active life primarily focused on their children’s’ activities and sporting events. In their free time they enjoy spending time at the beach and exploring new places.
Tracy Martin
Credit Manager
Tracy joined Buckeye in 2018 with over 15 years of credit management experience in the construction wholesale and distribution industry. She leads the credit department and is responsible for the oversight of our accounts receivables department for the company. Tracy is the proud mother of two sons. She enjoys spending time with her family, playing and watching soccer and being in the outdoors.
